AMAZING BACHELOR SUITES

When I first thought about this theme, I thought I would have a hard time finding enough suites. I can't begin to tell you how wrong I was. So wrong in fact, that we are going to have two weeks of Amazing Bachelor Suites!

It was very difficult to pick just one of his suites, they are all amazing. But it is cold where I am and I could really use a little sun in the fun and that is exactly what this suite is. A beach side villa in the Caribbean, who could resist? Not I said the little cold one. This is comes equipped with everything your heart could desire, handsome owner included.

Make sure to check out his other suites and bazaar, this is one very talented doll.

AMAZING BACHELOR SUITES #2

Roof top garden, hot tub, multi-level home, all the things that a successful bachelor needs. I really appreciate the different staging areas of this home. You can tell that it was inspired with entertaining in mind. I dare you to not have a good time at one of his parties.

A pad like no other...

AMAZING BACHELOR SUITES #3

Have you noticed anything? The male dolls look just as good as their suites. It is amazing how well they dress, with such a limited selection.

This house is gorgeous! Architectural minimalism at its best. Just remember to leave your Manolos at the door. I can just imagine that everything inside is white.

AlbeRtt3's suite

I don't even know if I would trust my self to drink red wine. Nope, only white!

AMAZING BACHELOR SUITES #4

Talk about your amazing bachelor pads! Who would not want to join this doll for an amazing pool party?

I am sure you will enjoy the rest of his suites as much as I did.

Amazing Bachelor Suites #5

This doll is not only an amazing designer, but he also puts a great deal of energy into his suites. When you begin to look around, you will notice that his ability to design has freed him from so many of the limitations that we work with while decorating in SD. If SD does not provide the proper brick facade, he just creates his own.

A talent to be admired... Make sure to check out his bazaar for interior creations!

AMAZING COCO CHANEL SUITE

Happy New Year! It is 2014 and I wish you all the best for the upcoming year.

I am dedicating my first week to an amazing doll and her amazing suites. The first picture you are seeing is of the Ritz Hotel facade. She has researched this image and put so much time into making it as accurate as possible. I dare say, as beautiful too.

Coco_Chanel____

In her words:

I found Stardoll last March when I was bed ridden with a bad back. I was spending too much on real CHANEL on EBay until I found it more fun to BE "Mademoiselle" on Stardoll. My father's family background is french and I have always been drawn to french things. When I saw my first CHANEL suit and handbag in a boutique in my 20's it was "Love at first sight" and the romance has continued through retail, sale, consignment, EBay and any other way I can collect CHANEL. My husband B (his fist initial) took me to Paris on our honeymoon and I bought my first scarf at a consignment store.
As for "Mademoiselle" on Stardoll, I've tried to catch the 1920's/30's Parisienne spirit of her with some artistic license.

Coco Chanel died January 10, 1971 at the age of 87, in her bed at the Ritz. Although she has been gone for 43 years, she is still an inspiration to so many today.

This suite is so beautiful in its detail and execution.

Coco_Chanel____
In her words:

On my site the left rooms are her residence at the RITZ Hotel. I've done much research about her life and studied many photos of those spaces. I used those images to give as accurate a look to her rooms as possible, ... the items she had in her private apartment there.

Due to changes made to the camera function on SD, I am unable to get you the full image of this suite. But I think you can see, even from this image, the creativity of this doll. She has taken SD items and transformed them into something beautiful and timeless. So many hidden treasures.

Coco_Chanel____

In her words:

Some times you will see a suitcase and male items belonging to Arthur "Boy" Capel (the love of Mademoiselles life) in her RITZ suites. He actually died 22 December 1919, aged 28, in a car crash but I wish to give them more time together. I am a romantic.

AMAZING COCO CHANEL SUITE- PRIVATE SUITE

I have to admit, I didn't know much about how Coco lived the first time I visited this doll, I just loved her suites. Then I did a bit of "Google" research and I was amazed the the lengths she went through to recreate these amazing rooms... simply amazed...

Coco_Chanel____

In her words:

I took great pains when designing the two "Chinoiserie" rooms and her living room above her boutique. She loved Chinese Coromandel folding screens and I tried to replicate the spirit of two of them that were/are in those spaces to this day. She used them as wall coverings, doors, screens, and added privacy and mystery to her spaces.

AMAZING COCO CHANEL SUITE- CLUB SUITE

Everyone loves a good party... and so did Coco!

Coco_Chanel____

In her words:

The RITZ Hotel Penthouse Jazz club and Garden Terrace are my idea of what a club at that time might look like. The real RITZ Hotel courtyard restaurant is on the ground floor and I may tackle that at a future date.

AMAZING COCO CHANEL SUITE- CLUB SUITE

Everything about these suites takes you back to an era long gone... Wonderful!
Coco_Chanel____

In her words:

DECO BELLES Private Club ( Left-side, top floor) is my interpretation of a "Members Only" club or Speakeasy of the 1920's/30's between WWI and WWII.

AMAZING COCO CHANEL SUITE- TRAVEL

So, this image is due to the new functionality of the SD camera. Please take a moment and visit this suite, it truly is beautiful.

Coco_Chanel____

In her words:

The train is my interpretation of the Simplon-Orient Express. The train is traveling through the Alps at night during a snowstorm just as the character's in Agatha Christie's "Murder on the Orient Express" did. I hope to create one of the cabins in the future.

AMAZING COCO CHANEL SUITE- TRAVEL

Normandy... it is beautiful there! This suite really captures the spirit of the times and location.

Coco_Chanel____

In her words:

The Beach Hotel is my interpretation of a grande hotel she would have stayed in at Deaville, on the Normandy coast.

AMAZING COCO CHANEL SUITE

If you love fashion, you have to check out her bazaar too. You will find very beautiful dresses and blazers a la Coco Chanel, as well as deco items too.

Coco_Chanel____

In her words:
On my site the right are her business rooms at 31 rue de ***bon across the street. I've done much research about her life and studied many photos of those spaces. I tried to create the look of the mirrored staircases and feel of her boutique and what her workroom would look like.

AMAZING COCO CHANEL SUITE

It was this doll who really inspired me to learn more about Coco Chanel and for that I am forever grateful.

Coco_Chanel____

In her words:

"Mademoiselle" was a human being and did many things I strongly disagree with. That having been said, she also helped many women to follow in her footsteps in dress, business and attitude. By opening the door for herself she also opened it for others. She wrote her own rule book and paid the consequences for her actions.
