I wish I could say that I found this suite, but I did not. A good friend, BeAFoxxyLady, is the person who discovered this amazing work. But once I saw it in her album, I knew that I had to visit this doll. And I knew that I had the direction for my next blog.
Have you ever had a dream, so real that you didn't know if you were dreaming any longer or if you had been awake the entire time? Have you ever seen an image that put you in a place, be it a good place or bad place, and you had to shake yourself to break free? Well the next suites do just that! They are so lucid and true in their design, that you can't seem to escape their haunting images.
What is more beautiful than the love of a mother for her young? There are so many ways to capture this love, but I especially appreciate how this doll did it.

I took this photo in black and white, because the suite exuded a darkness that a colour photo could not express. It wasn't a scary darkness... but one that made me sad, a darkness that made me feel very alone.

They made me think... where did these dolls come up with such amazing ideas. They made me think... what does it really mean? They made me think!

Whether you agree with this scene or not, you will have to admit it holds your eye. I found it rather disturbing, especially with the heart and rose that were included. So for me, this suite became more like a piece of art work. And isn't art supposed to be there to make you think, to make you uncomfortable, to pull you out of your comfort zone?
When I first learned about the new DIY items, I was so excited that I decided immediately that I would do a feature on suites using the items. I just knew that I would be seeing amazing suites everywhere on my visits. And I did see amazing suites... So many suites... But they all looked the same. That is not a criticism of the beautiful suites I ran into, just the reality of working with the DIY items. They are such strong pieces, that you really have to work to make them your "own". So this feature took a little longer than I had hoped. I hope you like the suites that I have chosen.

She has created the perfect attic bedroom! A room with angles, corners, tight corners and niches. I think that any little girl would be happy to call this room her own.
How did she do it? With the perfect combination of DIY, plaza and Stardesign items is how she did it. You would think that you could just buy this as a back drop and place your items in this suite, but that would be too easy... wouldn't it. I love everything about this space! From the loving details, to the amazing attention paid to scale and detail.
Not sure exactly how she did it... but I sure am happy that she did!

I love this idea! I would have never in a million years come up with this idea. But an idea is not enough to make an amazing suite, is it? It is the attention that is paid to the details and the balance that is then achieved. This suite has surpassed this balance! Each item is in its proper place! Everything fits perfectly and just increases the beauty of its friend and partner. Which in the end, just makes me say.. It is so darn pretty!

Honestly.. I feel like I shouldn't say too much, I would hate to ruin the vibe that this suite is emitting. Keep it light, keep it easy, let the pieces speak for themselves. Yep, that is what it is saying, so that is what I will do. I will let the picture speak for itself.

I really like this suite. She has used the items to create a space behind the main room, which gives the effect that the windows are recessed. Her DIY items play a prominent role in her suite, but the effective use of furniture and props ensure that the room still has personality and distinct character.
Breakfast will be at 8, so don't be late.

You will have to look closely to find the DIY items in this suite. But you will find them... That is the brilliance of this kitchen, the window is just that.. a window. The scene looks so real, that I feel inclined to tell you to hurry so she can get on with her breakfast, before her egg gets cold. There is so much to see, so make sure to take your time... I would hate for you to miss anything..
It's nice! Yep, that is what my daughter said when she saw this suite... With a smile on her face...

I have to agree with my daughter, it is nice. There is nothing not to like about it, only everything to love. And did you see what happened to the Paris skyline? Brilliant idea, it has become a picture that serves to marry the colour pallet in the suite. A wonderful use of the new DIY items.

When everything appears to be so soft... so sweet... so happy... so pink... All you can do is smile. I love how the colours in the suite bring out the subtle pinks in the DIY skyline. I had not seen it before, but once you notice it, it is hard not to think Stardoll had a suite like this in mind when they designed it. This is truly a beautiful suite... and doll.

First you must have the idea and then begins the search for the right pieces. There is so much thought put into this suite. There is nothing missing! And the new DIY items just add to the beauty of her concept. Everything fits, everything complements each other, it is the perfect plan. The DIY and Stardesign items appear to be made for each other in this suite. A perfect harmony.
Who wouldn't like to live in Paris? Especially in this loft!

What really takes this suite to the next level is the consequent monochromatic theme and the brilliant use of Stardesign items. I have always been a fan of using a combination of plaza and design items and I hope that after you visit this amazing suite, you too will be inspired to create spaces with more design items. As you can witness with her suite, it is what really sets a suite apart from the others.
The flooring and skyline lend themselves beautifully for creating the perfect So-Ho loft.
