Whether you agree with this scene or not, you will have to admit it holds your eye. I found it rather disturbing, especially with the heart and rose that were included. So for me, this suite became more like a piece of art work. And isn't art supposed to be there to make you think, to make you uncomfortable, to pull you out of your comfort zone?
When I first learned about the new DIY items, I was so excited that I decided immediately that I would do a feature on suites using the items. I just knew that I would be seeing amazing suites everywhere on my visits. And I did see amazing suites... So many suites... But they all looked the same. That is not a criticism of the beautiful suites I ran into, just the reality of working with the DIY items. They are such strong pieces, that you really have to work to make them your "own". So this feature took a little longer than I had hoped. I hope you like the suites that I have chosen.

She has created the perfect attic bedroom! A room with angles, corners, tight corners and niches. I think that any little girl would be happy to call this room her own.
How did she do it? With the perfect combination of DIY, plaza and Stardesign items is how she did it. You would think that you could just buy this as a back drop and place your items in this suite, but that would be too easy... wouldn't it. I love everything about this space! From the loving details, to the amazing attention paid to scale and detail.
Not sure exactly how she did it... but I sure am happy that she did!

I love this idea! I would have never in a million years come up with this idea. But an idea is not enough to make an amazing suite, is it? It is the attention that is paid to the details and the balance that is then achieved. This suite has surpassed this balance! Each item is in its proper place! Everything fits perfectly and just increases the beauty of its friend and partner. Which in the end, just makes me say.. It is so darn pretty!

Honestly.. I feel like I shouldn't say too much, I would hate to ruin the vibe that this suite is emitting. Keep it light, keep it easy, let the pieces speak for themselves. Yep, that is what it is saying, so that is what I will do. I will let the picture speak for itself.

I really like this suite. She has used the items to create a space behind the main room, which gives the effect that the windows are recessed. Her DIY items play a prominent role in her suite, but the effective use of furniture and props ensure that the room still has personality and distinct character.
Breakfast will be at 8, so don't be late.
Rosie.doll's Suite
You will have to look closely to find the DIY items in this suite. But you will find them... That is the brilliance of this kitchen, the window is just that.. a window. The scene looks so real, that I feel inclined to tell you to hurry so she can get on with her breakfast, before her egg gets cold. There is so much to see, so make sure to take your time... I would hate for you to miss anything..
